The sun came out for the Bighton Fete this afternoon and it was traditional rural village fun for the self-titled 'biggest little fete in Hampshire'.
Steve Brine and his children went along and enjoyed the BBQ and do show as well as various other games and activities to raise money for the community just outside of Alresford.
This year's fete had a WW1 theme as it commemorated the end of the Great War and was sponsored by Alresford Salads, the Mid Hants Watercress Line and Emergency Management Solutions Limited.
The MP said; "Bighton always marks the end of the Summer season, coming as it does, after a busy season of fete's and shows. They're all different but this is one of the more simple events, just traditional local fare with no commercial element other than an ice cream van. We thoroughly enjoyed it as always and congratulations to the team for putting it together."
