Steve Brine hosted a group from Thornden in the House of Commons on Monday 11th June, and locked horns in a lively Q & A session.
The Chandler's Ford MP took time out to meet the students after they had completed a tour, and spent 45 minutes fielding questions on a wide range of issues, including his day-to-day role, Scottish independence, Syria, his favourite historical people and the differences between the House of Commons and the House of Lords.
Speaking afterwards, Steve said: "I had a wonderful time with the guys and girls from Thornden, and as ever, I found that often the most penetrating and honest questions come from young people.
"I was impressed at the depth of knowledge they displayed, and very much enjoyed the time we spent together.
"I was also pleasantly surprised to receive some really nice Tweets afterwards, and I do hope they had a very memorable day up here."
