MP visits All Saints Primary School

The Member of Parliament for Winchester and Chandler's Ford paid an early morning visit to All Saints Church of England Primary School in Highcliffe.

Steve spent his time catching up with the Headteacher, Jane Hall, pupils at the school and other staff members. The MP used the opportunity to discuss the ongoing road safety campaign on Petersfield Road which he has been working with residents on.

My final column is perhaps more reflective than usual but I hope you will forgive me as I prepare to formally step down as Parliament is formally Dissolved ahead of the General Election on July 4. Fourteen years ago, in May 2010, I was first elected as our MP.
