MP thanks RHCH staff

Steve Brine has thanked staff at RHCH after a power outage at Southampton General Hospital resulted in them closing their Emergency Department and diverting to Winchester, Portsmouth and Basingstoke.

College students visit Parliament

A group of students from Peter Symonds College visited Parliament on Tuesday 27th November.

They took a tour of the Palace of Westminster and then met up with their MP, Steve Brine, for a Q&A session.

Kings’ school visit Parliament

Steve Brine met up with Year 7 students from Kings’ school on Monday 26th November as they visited the Houses of Parliament.

The group took in the tour alongside a film shown by Parliament’s Education Service, before they met up with their MP for a chat.

Sparsholt children visit Parliament

Year 6 children hit Parliament on Monday 12th November as they took a tour of the Palace of Westminster and met their MP, Steve Brine.

They began in the House of Lords, and were then led through the Division Lobby into the House of Commons.

Steve Brine visited the Community Café at St Peter’s Pastoral Centre in Jewry Street, Winchester on Thursday 8th November to meet customers and sample the menu, cooked up by FirstBite, a local not-for-profit social enterprise.
